RISK ASSSESSMENT
Keep access to the point of discharge clear and free of obstructions. Where possible keep pedestrians and any other vehicles away from the designated route to the discharge point.
When discharge is through a concrete pump or into a dumper the ground must be level and stable. The truck discharge area must be clear of all obstructions. The driver must have adequate work space to operate the mixer discharge and to communicate with the pump operator or dumper driver.
Don’t forget to check for overhead obstructions such as power cables and telephone lines. Our trucks are nearly 4 metres high.
Underground services, manhole covers & public footpaths. If we are required and instructed to go off the public highway, then any damage to such services will be at the clients risk and responsibility. Our 8 metre trucks are 32 tonne fully laden. Do not under estimate this weight and the damage it can cause.
